Rafiki's
Planet
Watch. After
de
boarding,
walk
along
the
jungle
trail
to
see
cotton-top
tamarin
primates
and
park
members
speaking
about
animal
protection.
 Visit Affection
Section to meet goats, sheep, pigs, llamas and other friendly
animals. Children can interact and pet some of these animals.
Inside the Conservation Station see
live animal exhibits and wildlife conservation awareness presentations. See
behind-the-scenes veterinary work as staff members care for animals.
Asia
 Animal
Kingdom's premier ride is found in this section of the park. Expedition
Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain™ is
a high-speed, train-like ride up and through the Forbidden Mountain. Hairpin
turns and dives through dark caves lead upwards to the peak where the
track simply ends as it rises towards the sky above! After a
heart-pounding pause, the train falls backwards towards yet another
surprise!
Wander through the lush forests and ancient ruins of
the Maharajah Jungle Trek®. See
exotic animals including giant bats, Komodo dragons, tapirs and tigers.
 Raft
down the turbulent waters of the Chakranadi River at the Kali
River Rapids®. The 12 passenger
raft will wind along an Asian rain forest.
See amazing birds in flight at the Flights of
Wonder show. Various birds are seen including vultures,
hawks, macaws a crane and an American Bald Eagle.

Dinosaur takes
one back 65
million years
to a land
that time
forgot. Board
a Time Rover
vehicle to
take this
wild ride
through a
darkened enclosure. The
winding ride
will encounter
many dinosaurs
as the the
rover races
against time
to avoid the
crashing meteor.
 Take
the kids over to Primeval Whirl® to
let them enjoy the kids-friendly coaster. They will have a blast
as it whirls, dips and turns along its track. Then hop on the TriceraTop
Spin to ride the flying, dino merry-go-round.
Visit The Boneyard to let the kids
explore a "dinosaur dig". Crawl and slide through this
maze built around the fossil remains of Triceratops and T-Rex.

Jammin' Jungle Parade
 Watch
the afternoon parade as it winds through the streets of Animal Kingdom. The
costumed performers and Disney characters make this street party a
highlight of the day.

Animal Kingdom Visitor Tips
As with most theme parks, go early in the day during
summer to beat the Florida heat. Also plan visits to the air-conditioned
Conservation Station, It's Tough to Be a Bug, Dinosaur ride to get
a cooling break during the hottest parts of the day. Getting
a bit wet on the Kali River Rapids ride my also be refreshing.
 Disney
uses a FastPass® system
to allows guests to "save" a place in line at selected adventures
and shows. Use your admission ticket at selected kiosk
stations to print a FastPass. Return within the predetermined
times published on the pass to proceed through a much shorter line
to the ride of show. Use of these passes is limited, but highly
recommended to get the most enjoyment throughout the day.
